Born and raised in South Africa, Ivana Margherita Cerisara developed an early sensitivity to colour, materials and perception. After moving to Italy, she studied art and attended the Faculty of Architecture in Venice. Her professional journey began in fashion and has evolved over more than thirty years of research across fashion, textiles and design, collaborating on collections for leading Italian brands. Her creative signature lies in the ability to combine colours, yarns, patterns and textures, bringing different elements into dialogue to create new aesthetic possibilities. This experience has progressively developed into a research practice focused on anticipating and interpreting contemporary aesthetic evolution, now expressed through the work of META TREND MILANO.
